There’s some excellent news for Outlander fans who watched Sex Education to get through Droughtlander. Season 4 is officially happening at Netflix.
There are a lot of TV shows to watch to get through Droughtlander. We spend a lot of time recommending shows with Outlander actors, whether they were in one episode or multiple episodes. Sex Education is one of those shows.
Tanya Reynolds is known to us as Isobel Dunsany, but she is Lily on Sex Education. With the end of the third season, we all knew more episodes were needed. During Netflix’s TUDUM event, the streamer announced the great news.
Sex Education Season 4 is officially happening. That means we get to see more development for all characters, and we’re certainly hoping for more Lily!
When will Sex Education Season 4 come to Netflix?
There is a little bit of bad news for those who want to see the series during Droughtlander. Sex Education Season 4 won’t make it to Netflix during this Droughtlander. It’s only just been confirmed, and then it will need writing, filming, and editing.
We’re looking at about 14 months from the release of the most recent season. That means around November 2022, which offers us a little bit of good news. It will likely arrive in time for the next Droughtlander.
While we know Outlander Season 7 is happening, the season won’t start filming until sometime in 2022. There have been too many issues with pandemic protocols slowing things down, and Caitriona Balfe will be taking time off after having her baby. So, we’re looking at early 2023 at the earliest for Season 7 to be ready for us (although it will likely be a little later).
If Sex Education Season 4 arrives late 2022, it will be during Droughtlander. We’ll have eight episodes of a new season to help.
Sex Education is available to stream on Netflix.
