Can you still watch Outlander on Amazon in the UK?

There’s some news for you UK Outlander fans out there. It’s no secret that the time-travel romance is popular not only in the U.S. but worldwide. It’s definitely a hit in the UK, and fans have been able to watch Outlander on Amazon this whole time.

For those enjoying the show on Amazon, there are going to be some changes coming. STARZPLAY UK will be the new home for Outlander in the European country.

Variety reports that the new season will air the same day and date as the U.S., and all the previous seasons will be made available. This news may be good for some, but a pain for others.

With Outlander moving to STARZPLAY, that means UK fans who rely on Amazon to watch the show will now have to think about their options.

Can you still watch Outlander on Amazon in the UK?

So can UK fans watch Outlander on Amazon? The short answer is yes.

The good news is you can still watch the show on Amazon Channels since STARZPLAY is on there. The bad news—now subscribers need to pay for an Amazon Prime membership and the STARZPLAY channel. Outlander will no longer be included with Amazon Prime.

You can still use your Prime account, log into Amazon Prime Video, and the Channels you’ve signed up for will be there. You can watch through Amazon, but the episodes will no longer be free with the Prime membership.

I know this is disappointing news for many UK fans. It’s always difficult when you need to subscribe to multiple platforms or pay an additional cost to watch your favorite show.

Though this is tough on the fans, it is a decision that makes sense. While having the show on multiple streaming services gives it exposure, at the end of the day companies are going to want their shows on their own platforms. From a company standpoint, I can see why they chose to do this.

Another piece of good news is that Men in Kilts will also be available on STARZPLAY. Who wouldn’t want to keep rewatching Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish’s journey through Scotland? And fingers crossed there will be a Men in Kilts Season 2, which would also stream on STARZPLAY!
