For All Mankind Season 3 is not coming to Apple TV+ in September 2021
As we continue to support the shows and movies from those involved in Outlander, For All Mankind Season 3 is on our radar. It’s not arriving next month.
We’ve double-checked the list of releases, and we have some bad news. For All Mankind Season 3 is definitely not arriving on Apple TV+ in September 2021. We’ve got a bit more of a wait on our hands.
The lack of premiere isn’t all that surprising. We’re not expecting it to premiere at all in 2021.
What do we know about the season so far? When can we expect it? Let’s take a look at some predictions.
For All Mankind Season 3 premiere date predictions
With Season 2 only just arriving in February 2021, we’re not expecting the release of Season 3 any time soon. It took 15 months between the premiere dates of Seasons 1 and 2. While there was a pandemic that caused a problem there, 15 months was actually quite reasonable and is around standard for streaming platforms. Hey, it’s a shorter wait that Outlander fans had to deal with most of the time!
If we work with 15 months again, we’re looking at For All Mankind Season 3 premiering sometime in May 2022. It could be a little earlier due to the lack of pandemic causing major problems, although there are still some delays. Filming is currently underway, and it started up in February 2021, so there’s a chance it is close to finishing. Then it would need to get through post-production, so early 2022 is the earliest we’ll likely see the season premiere.
For All Mankind Season 3 will likely jump ahead another 10 years or so. That’s been the case with Season 2, and according to an interview with Ron D. Moore in Inverse, that looks to be the plan again. It allows the writers to show what could happen in this alternate world where the missions to space continued to grow due to the Soviets getting to the moon first.
