Outlander Book Club: The Fiery Cross Chapter 63 breakdown
Brianna rides to Alamance with an update for Claire in Outlander Book 5, Chapter 63
There was no way Brianna was going to allow everyone else to face a battle and not be there. She rides into Alamance in Outlander Book 5, Chapter 63.
Brianna is there for a couple of reasons. The first one is that she doesn’t want to just sit at home. She wants to do something useful, and even though she’s not a very good nurse, she can help when it comes to the wounded because she understands modern-day medicine.
The other reason is to share a little hope. The battle isn’t in the history books. I have questions about this, and I’ll delve into them in the chapter breakdown.
The chapter was partly used for the series. However, Brianna didn’t go with news that the battle wasn’t in the history books. Instead, she rode in to share that it was in the history books. And this was going to be a bloodshed. I’ll get to my thoughts on the way this was changed for the series in the adaptation section.
As for foreshadowing, there is still something when it comes to Roger. Again, I’ll get to that in the foreshadowing section.
Let’s dive into The Fiery Cross Chapter 63.
