There isn’t that much in the way of foreshadowing in this chapter. For me, it just points out just how much Jamie and Claire love and understand each other. They want to be around each other, and they understand how each other is feeling. They may be from different time periods and ways of life, but they still have a deep understanding.
Adapting The Fiery Cross chapter
The chapter was used in the series. It made sense to include it. While there isn’t much time for quiet moments like this, we still need some of them. After all, we need to see the continued bond between Claire and Jamie.
That’s something this chapter offers. It’s all about how they connect in a way many others wouldn’t. For me, this was an important chapter in the book, and I’m glad it was included in the series, even if it did potentially change when Jamie’s birthday is.
