Jamestown is leaving Amazon Prime Video Canada this month
If you’re looking for something to watch during Droughtlander, Jamestown is likely on your list. It’s leaving Amazon Prime Video Canada very soon.
Jamestown is a great series to check out during Droughtlander. Set about 150 years before Outlander, the series looks at one of the first settlements in the New World and the trouble and dangers that came from it.
It focuses mostly on three women who travel from England to Jamestown to marry men there. The settlement is growing, and most of these women don’t know the men they’re going to marry. And some of them don’t end up marrying the men they’re supposed to and get to marry for love.
All the while, there are men looking to gain and keep as much power and influence as possible. Then there is the Native American tribe that has a tense peace with the settlement.
There are a few elements that will draw in Outlander fans. If you’re in Canada, there isn’t long left to watch it on Amazon Prime Video.
Jamestown leaves Canadian Prime at the end of the month
One of the flaws with Amazon’s list of releases is the lack of a list of exits from the streaming platform. You often have to go looking for something to find out if it’s leaving too, and that’s the case for Jamestown. I only noticed because I was flicking through the list of shows that I had on my to-watch list.
Jamestown is leaving Amazon Prime Video Canada on Aug. 31. It’ll leave at the end of the day, so there is still time to binge-watch the series. There are three seasons available with eight episodes each. With 24 episodes in total, you’ll be done with the binge-watch in no time.
