There are plenty of celebrity fans of Outlander. Susan Sarandon is the latest to show how much she loves it by being just like us!

Outlander is no stranger to having celebrity fans. Lou Diamond Phillips is one of the most vocal on Twitter, regularly reminding us that he loves the series. He would even love some sort of role on the show.

Karen Gillan from Doctor Who recently shared her love for the show. She has managed to catch up on the series during the pandemic, and Sam Heughan mentioned that they should find a role for her on the series.

Now the latest is Susan Sarandon. She took to Twitter in a way that we all have: wanting to know when the new season will be released.

Sam Heughan responded to Susan Sarandon about Outlander

Sarandon took to Twitter to ask when Outlander Season 6 will premiere. She even tagged the two leads of the series, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe.

Heughan didn’t disappoint. As he does with many celebrity fans, he asked Sarandon to name the date and they would make it happen. Of course, previously, he shared that the season would arrive in February 2022.

We’re still waiting for STARZ or the series to confirm this month as right now the official word is “early 2022.” That is still the official word.

Balfe did reply to Sarandon but not about the series. It was more about them being birthday twins, which gave Sarandon a chance to share her praise for the series, especially the intimate scenes.

Fans also quickly jumped in to give their Droughtlander suggestions. Some mentioned shows like Men in Kilts to watch, while others suggested she get in touch with Steven Cree who will sometimes talk Outlander—and also shares A Discovery of Witches updates.
