The good news is there’s still plenty of time to catch up on the series before Outlander Season 6 arrives. It’s not coming in 2021, with the confirmed release period sometime in “early 2022.” We’re looking at February after a comment from Sam Heughan on social media.

Outlander Season 4 is on Netflix

There’s some great news. Outlander Season 4 came to Netflix U.S. in January 2021. It arrived two years after the Season 4 finale aired on STARZ, which gives us a good idea of when the fifth season will arrive.

We hadn’t been 100% sure if the fourth season would come to Netflix. Chris Albrecht, the former STARZ CEO, made the deal with Netflix to bring the series to the streamer. It was clear that putting the STARZ show on the biggest streaming service in the U.S. was going to work out to be hugely beneficial. And it did pay off.

New CEO Jeremy Hirsch wanted to get rid of the deal. That’s not happened yet, although we don’t know how long the deal is actually in place for. For now, the deal is in place, and Outlander Season 4 is still on Netflix.

This is where it stops, though. There is a fifth season, but you can only watch that on STARZ as of right now. That’s the way it will stay until May 2022 if the deal remains in place.
