There’s plenty of Outlander merchandise out there, but there’s not much to keep us entertained during Droughtlander. The Outlander board game changes that.

Outlander Season 6 isn’t going to arrive until, likely, February 2022. It’s a bit of a wait, but some of it will be made easier thanks to an upcoming Outlander board game.

It’s currently available for pre-order via TiBS, with the release expected on Oct. 31, 2021. Yes, we still have to wait for the game, but at least it will arrive before the new season to keep us entertained during some of Droughtlander. It’ll also be useful for all future Droughtlanders.

The game is currently available for $41.99, and it is perfect for one to six players.

What does the Outlander board game involve?

The game takes us back to 1743. Jamie Fraser will take us on a journey around the Highlands, teaching us everything we need to know and learn.

Players will need to form the right alliances and head to the right locations to win the game. Along the way, it’s all about keeping Jamie out of the clutches of the wrong people. Think of yourself as Claire in Outlander Season 1.

There are three enemies that you’ll need to look out for along the way. Of course, Black Jack Randall is one of them. The Watch is another, and we know the dangers of the Watch if they get their hands on Jamie and his bounty. Then there are the Red Coats not necessarily connected to Black Jack Randall.

The interesting part of the game is that all players will need to work together in a way. If Jamie is caught with no means to escape, the game ends for everyone.
