We didn’t think this would happen so soon, but there is some great news about Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone. It will officially be here before 2021 comes to an end.
The ninth book will be released on Tuesday, Nov. 23. Yes, you have time to get it before Christmas. Will you wait for it to be your Christmas gift or ask for an early gift?
It is possible to pre-order the novel. The non-English versions will be published at a later date, but the audiobook will be released on the same day as the hardback English version.

The announcement for the date also comes with a look at the cover for Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone. Entertainment Weekly got the exclusive on that release, with Diana Gabaldon sharing the cover in her own Facebook post to announce the date.

The novel picks up off the back of Written in My Own Heart’s Blood. It’s 1779 in North Carolina, and Brianna, Roger, and the children are back at Fraser’s Ridge. The entire family is together once more.
It’s also the middle of the American Revolutionary War. The Frasers and MacKenzies need to pick a side, and they know the side that will win in the end. Can they remain on the right side of history this time? It doesn’t help that the loyalty among Jamie’s tenants at the Ridge is split, and he’ll need to somehow keep that peace.
The novel will also offer a little more into the world of William Ransom. He’s struggling to come to terms with the truth of his parentage. That’s not all that surprising considering what that would mean.
We’ve already had some of the Daily Lines that tease some of the stories to come. There are a lot of main plot points to cover still.
Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone is out on Tuesday, Nov. 23.
