The Gloriana sails to the colonies in Outlander Book 4, Chapter 37

It’s time for Roger to set sail on the Gloriana in Outlander Book 4, Chapter 37. We pick up partway through the journey, but it’s clear there is drama to come.

This is a chapter that quickly introduces a couple of characters. There’s only really one that you need to pay close attention to because she will come up in the future (and not just in the next couple of chapters!). The others are a little less important for the overall story, but important for Roger’s experience on the ship.

Some of this chapter was used for the series. There was no way around it because the next chapter is needed for Roger’s story arc.

The chapter is on the average length for Part Eight. It comes in at around 20 minutes, and it is packed with details. One of the great things about books is that it offers a chance to develop characters more. There is the liberty of time, which is why books are usually better than their TV show or movie adaptations.

Let’s dive straight into Drums of Autumn Chapter 37. Are you ready to experience the journey?
