Update: Scotsman updated the article to confirm Amazon wouldn’t get the series. It will head to STARZPlay, starting on May 9.

There is no need for an extra subscription according to the report. You don’t need to invest in STARZ as an Amazon Channel. You’ll just be able to watch the episodes weekly.

What the report doesn’t tell us is when the series is on in the UK. If it’s anything like Outlander, Men in Kilts will be available the following day on Amazon Prime Video. The episodes should be released weekly, the day after a new episode airs in the U.S.

Men in Kilts is going to be worth the wait if there is one. It takes viewers on a road trip around Scotland, learning the history and the culture. Those who live in Scotland will certainly enjoy seeing their culture on show, and may just learn a few things about their own history that wasn’t taught in school!
