Get your own Sassenach gear at Sam Heughan’s Sassenach Store
The Sassenach Store has opened with branded merchandise to go along with Sassenach Whisky
Sam Heughan is on a roll lately. The Outlander star has new movies and a new TV show coming out. He’s written a book. He’s released his whisky in the U.S. and the UK, and now he has the Sassenach Store for gear to compliment that whisky.
The Sassenach Spirits team sent out an email announcing the store’s opening on Dec. 18. The store contains tartan scarves as well as t-shirts, a flask, whisky glasses, and baseball caps branded with the Sassenach unicorn logo.
Like Sam’s whisky release, the store has had a strong opening, and like his whisky some items are already sold out, namely the whisky glasses and the low profile hat. There are still plenty of items to tempt Sam Heughan fans though.
The Sassenach Store’s most tempting items are made with two unique Sassenach tartans
There are three scarves in the collection, a vintage-sized scarf in the Sassenach tartan and a vintage-sized and blanket-sized scarf in the Sassenach First Love tartan. According to the website:
"Made by tartan artisans in the iconic Scottish Highlands on 20th century shuttle looms, each scarf has been made with the finest spun merino wool. All cut and finished by hand, each scarf is unique and symbolic of our sustainable values, love for traditional crafts and for Scotland."
The whisky glasses proved to be a hot ticket item again and sold out fast. However, there’s still an awesome flask you can get that’s wrapped in the Sassenach tartan with leather trim and the Sassenach logo.
The t-shirts are black with a gold logo on the chest. They are available in a unisex style and a slim-fit women’s shirt. The remaining hat is a gray snapback style baseball cap with the logo on the front.
If you’re not a whisky fan or weren’t able to snag a bottle of The Sassenach, or even if you were, buying something from the Sassenach Store would be a great way to support Sam Heughan. You probably won’t get items in time for Christmas, but they’re still great gifts for any Outlander fan.
