Sophie Skelton is doing a Cameo campaign to support mental health
Sophie Skelton has joined Cameo in a campaign to support the Mental Health Foundation
Are you still looking for holiday presents for your fellow Outlander-obsessed friends? How would they like a personalized video message from Sophie Skelton that helps out a great charity?
If you’re not familiar with Cameo, it’s a website and app where you can purchase personalized video messages from celebrities for your friends and family. You get 250 characters to tell them what you’d like them to say, whether it’s “happy birthday,” “sorry you’re having a rough time,” or even “good luck on your test!” Sophie Skelton is the latest Outlander star to join the site.
Matt Carter reported on her Cameo campaign on Dec. 8. She’s not doing the videos for herself but to support the Mental Health Foundation so if you purchase one, your money will be going to a great cause.
Sophie Skelton announced her Cameo campaign with an Instagram video
Sophie took to Instagram to tell fans she’s joining Cameo for the campaign. She reminded them of the song she released last year, also in support of a mental health charity. She acknowledged that it’s a rough time of year for many people, especially with the current world situation.
Sophie recommended her videos for yourselves, friends, or family and said, “I am now your Santa Claus.” Cameo videos really are great gifts. You can find her page here.
The cost for a video message is $100, which is fairly reasonable as far as Cameo prices go, and the fact that your money is going to charity is a definite bonus. Her turnaround time is one day.
