Claire’s five standout moments from Outlander Season 3, Episode 11

We spent a lot of time seeing Claire’s survival skills and need to find Jamie during Outlander Season 3, Episode 11. It’s time to look back through her best moments on the anniversary of the episode.

There were certainly some excellent moments, and not just the fact that she has a habit of falling from the sky. Here’s a look at my five favorite Claire moments throughout “Uncharted.”

The rules of survival

Claire thinks about what she needs to survive. It’s the rule of three. Humans can survive three minutes without air, three days without water, and three weeks without food. The water is the important one right now.

Despite being focused on finding Jamie and trying to figure out where she is, Claire knows that she needs to get moving. She needs water.

Remaining calm in the jungle

I love seeing Claire’s survival skills. While I know a lot of fans dislike that so much time is spent on Claire walking through the jungle, it tells me a lot about Claire’s personality. We see that she is able to handle a tough situation calmly.

There are moments that we see Claire scared. She doesn’t know where she is, the animals in the jungle seem out to get her, and she doesn’t know if she’ll find help. However, she focuses on what she needs. It’s only once she sees another human that she allows herself to collapse.

Race through the jungle

Once Claire is safe, she needs to figure out a way to get to Jamie. It all seems to fall into place for her. Jamie has ended up on the beach.

Claire takes off. She races through the jungle, not even stopping to really pay attention to what she caught her arm on. All that matters is getting to the beach and hoping that she is there in time to get to Jamie.

Her moment with Marsali

Once reunited, it’s time to figure out what the next steps are. Jamie and Claire catch up with everything that’s happened, and it leads to Fergus and Marsali’s wedding.

Claire knows how nerve-wracking it can be for brides, so she decides to see how Marsali is feeling. This is a huge moment for Claire as she recognizes that Marsali is not Laoghaire. While Marsali is Laoghaire’s daughter, they have vastly different personalities.

There’s a hint of the bond that is to come between the two of them. And it all starts with Claire offering to talk to Marsali about how to avoid pregnancy.

Bolt the door

The end of the episode involves the turtle soup, penicillin, and bolting a door. Oh yes, it is one of Claire’s best moments from Outlander Season 3, Episode 11. She’s passionate, she’s fiery, and she’s willing to get what she wants.

It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen this side of Claire. This moment did not disappoint.
