There were two extra familiar faces for Outlander fans on The Crown Season 4
The Crown Season 4 was always going to be something many Outlander fans tuned into. Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip was one thing that drew many to the show.
He wasn’t the only familiar face during the season. Sure, there have been some familiar faces during previous seasons, but Season 4 saw two women of Outlander appear.
They were both only in guest roles. One appeared in two episodes and the other appeared in just one episode (with an accent you wouldn’t recognize). Let’s take a look at who you may have missed.
Alison Pargeter as the Buckingham Palace maid
The first Outlander actress to show up was Alison Pargeter. She was in two episodes as a maid at Buckingham Palace. And she even appeared opposite Tobias Menzies.
She appeared in “Fagan” and “War,” the fifth and 10th episodes of The Crown Season 4 respectively. She was the one to walk into the Queen’s bedroom with her tea that morning a man had broken into the palace and had a conversation with the Queen.
Who is Pargeter when it comes to Outlander? She played Margaret Campbell in three episodes of the third season.
Annette Badland at the New York hospital
Next up is the actress whose accent you wouldn’t have recognized on The Crown Season 4. Annette Badland put on an American accent for her role as Dr. Margaret Heagarty at a hospital on the “wrong side of Harlem.” This hospital was filled with sick and dying children, one of whom had HIV. Due to the stigma around the disease, the child didn’t have much physical contact with people and Princess Diana gave him a hug.
The scene itself was mostly about Diana. It was about the steps she took to show how caring she was, how much she wasn’t like the rest of the Royal Family. It caused Charles to become even more jealous of his wife.
However, we couldn’t overlook Badland’s appearance.
