Jamie assess who could have been in the print shop in Outlander Book 3, Chapter 28

We get a relatively short chapter to continue the Outlander story. It’s a chance to wind down a little from the drama of the previous chapter before the action picks up again.

Jamie thinks about who could have possibly worked his way to the print shop during Outlander Book 3, Chapter 28. However, he doesn’t think about it for too long. It’s been a long day, and Young Ian is still worse for wear. That doesn’t stop Fergus from arranging for Young Ian to lose his virginity.

The chapter does allow us to breathe a little. At the same time, it sets up the dominos that will topple later in the story. While there isn’t traditional “foreshadowing” there is plot building in this part of the story, and we’ll get to that in the foreshadowing section.

What about the adaptation? While this chapter was partially used during Outlander Season 3, it wasn’t exact. I liked the way the show did it, but I also liked the book storyline. Both worked for their individual needs.

It is a short chapter, though. Coming in at around 18 minutes on Audible, it’s one of the shorter options that works as a way to set things up and tease what’s to come.

Let’s get into the breakdown of Voyager Chapter 28. Are you ready?
