Outlander Book Club: Voyager Chapter 16 breakdown
Jamie needs to take Lady Dunsany’s offer in Outlander Book 3, Chapter 16
We get a chapter that involves Willie growing up. That means Jamie has to take Lady Dunsany up on her offer. It’s time to delve into Outlander Book 3, Chapter 16.
This is the chapter that sees the end to the Helwater storyline. Jamie leaves the place behind, thinking that he will never see Willie again. There’s an adorable moment between the two of them, especially as we get to see Jamie as a father figure without Willie seeing him as that.
It’s an essential chapter in Jamie’s story. There was no way the series would be able to skip it completely. There were some changes, though. Some of the changes were linked to Lord John Grey’s appearance, while other changes were linked to who Jamie got his parole. However, despite the changes, the focus of the chapter remained the same. We got all the important elements to the story.
It is a relatively short chapter, though, coming in at around 22 minutes on Audible. That being said, it can feel like it takes a little longer. This is one of those chapters that you want to take your time with, as it’s a chance for Jamie to be a father to a young boy, even if that young boy doesn’t know the truth.
Let’s break down Voyager Chapter 16.
