The period-set movie has only just dropped on the streaming service. Even if you’re not a fan of Sherlock Holmes (Enola is his younger sister), then you’ll want to watch this for Frances de la Tour. The Outlander star is in the movie.

While her character will not be the kind but strict Mother Hildegarde, she’ll play a role that will likely remind us of the character at times.

The Outlander powerhouse stars as Viscount Lord Tewksbury’s grandmother. In the story, the young lord decides to run away from home. How will his grandmother react to that news? We’ll leave it to you to watch to find out.

One of the benefits is another period-set role. This time we’ll see de la Tour play a role in Victorian England.

What is Enola Holmes about?

This is going to be a movie for everyone to tune into, especially if you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes. It is the story of Enola, the younger sister of Sherlock and Mycroft. When her mother goes missing, she decides to find her brothers to help her locate her mother. That doesn’t quite go to plan, so she finds herself hiding from her brothers and looking for her mother at the same time.

Of course, she runs into Lord Tewksbury, who is trying to escape his own life. That brings in problems of its own.

The movie has a high-profile cast including Milly Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, Sam Claflin, Helena Bonham Carter, Burn Gorman, and, of course, Frances de la Tour.
