Outlander is one of those shows that is growing in popularity every day. We may see an influx after the show was included in an episode of The Boys Season 2.
Someone in the writing team must be a fan of the time-traveling drama. After all, one of the characters was caught watching the series. And it was a bit of a jarring but fun experience watching the episode.
While in the bunker where they’re hiding, Mother’s Milk is watching TV shows on his laptop to pass the time. “On your feet soldier” is suddenly heard. And yes, it’s Claire’s voice loud and clear. We get a glimpse of Outlander Season 1, Episode 11, as Claire makes the decision to remain with Jamie in the 18th century.
A show that everyone can enjoy
Something The Boys tells us is that Outlander is a show that absolutely everyone can enjoy. Mother’s Milk is one of the members of the vigilante group. He’s on the run after becoming wanted for his attempts to bring down The Seven, and all he wants is to be reunited with his family.
He’s a sensitive man, beneath the surface. Throughout the first season, we know that he just wants to do right by his wife and daughter. In the second season, his goal is to keep them safe and eventually get back to them so he can apologize for getting involved in the vigilantism once more.
It’s possible that his wife got him into Outlander. Now he watches the show to feel close to her.
Whatever the reason, our series got a shoutout on one of the most popular shows on Amazon Prime Video. There’s everything to love about that.
