Outlander Season 5 is heading to DVD and Blu-ray very soon. Like previous releases, there are different versions of the boxset to pre-order. The one you pick will depend on what you want to gain from the release.

You only have until Sept. 15 to wait for Outlander Season 5 to come to DVD and Blu-ray. The Collector’s Edition will also be released on the same day, which is a popular option for many Sassenachs around the world. You can pre-order right now, but where do you go for that?

You can go straight to where you prefer to get your DVD and Blu-rays. This could be through Best Buy, Walmart, or even Amazon. When you pre-order through Amazon.com, you do grab the Price Guarantee. It doesn’t matter what the price drops to up to the release date, you will always pay that lowest price regardless of the price you pre-ordered it at.

What if you want to buy on Digital?

There’s some good news if you prefer to order on Digital to watch wherever and whenever you want. Outlander Season 5 will come to Digital on Sept. 14.

Like with the DVD and Blu-ray release, you can already pre-order. This is through your favorite Digital provider, whether it’s iTunes, Google Play, Vudu, or even Amazon.

The downside to the Digital release is you don’t tend to get all the extra features the DVD and Blu-ray boxsets offer. You certainly don’t get the extra features the Collector’s Edition has, including the excerpt from “Go Tell The Bees That I Am Gone.”

This will be something you need to consider.
