You can register to pre-order Caitriona Balfe’s Forget Me Not gin

Sam Heughan isn’t the only person connected to Outlander-inspired alcohol. Caitriona Balfe’s name is now attached to a gin. The website for Forget Me Not gin is now available to visit.

At the website, you can register to pre-order the gin. As one of the first to get your hands on the gin, you’ll get a signed bottle. It’s the perfect addition to your Outlander collection. After all, if it wasn’t for the books and series, this gin wouldn’t be what it is.

The forget me not flower is an important part of the books and show. It’s the flower that Claire sees at the stones of Craig na Dun. Those flowers send her back to the stones, which is where she hears the noises for the first time and takes her trip to the past. We still don’t know who planted those flowers that attracted Claire’s attention.

Forget Me Not gin proceeds go to the arts

During COVID-19, the theaters and arts have been affected deeply. The theaters have had to close, events canceled, and artists laid off. Caitriona Balfe is trying to help in any way she can.

The proceeds for Forget Me Not gin will go towards the arts. The first the company will support is the SWG3 Graduate Program, a 12-month studios residency and commissioning program for artists and designers. Over time, other charities and programs will be supported.

About the gin

Forget Me Not gin is distilled and handcrafted in the Scottish Highlands. It only seems fitting considering Balfe is connected to it. You can check out the full list of ingredients on the Forget Me Not website, but it does include the flower itself.

You’ll be able to sign up to pre-order the first bottles when available. There isn’t anything about not being available in all locations around the world like we were warned with Sassenach Whisky. It’s worth signing up to find out and to get ready for the release.
