Looking back at Claire’s best moments from Outlander Season 1, Episode 2

On Aug. 16, 2014, Outlander Season 1, Episode 2 aired for the first time. We continue our look back at the old episodes. This time it’s all about Claire’s best moments from the episode.

This is the episode that saw Claire make it to Castle Leoch. She found herself being interrogated by the MacKenzies, man who believe that she’s some sort of spy. The question is who she is spying for. Just as it looks like Claire will make it back to the stones, she gets the news that she’s not going anywhere.

However, there is some good to take from the episode. We get to see Claire interact more with Jamie and there’s a chance of a friendship with Geillis Duncan.

Here are Claire’s best moments from Outlander Season 1, Episode 2.

Focusing only on Jamie healing

At the very beginning, Claire sees life at Castle Leoch. She’s immediately treated with more suspicion when Mrs. Fitz sees her. Yet, instead of feeling scared and apprehensive, trying to just make the best of the situation, her focus is on Jamie.

Claire is a nurse through and through at this point. Her whole being is about looking after the sick and injured. It’s something that she just can’t help.

Right now, her patient is Jamie. It doesn’t matter where she is or what’s going on around her. She needs to make sure that Jamie is healing well.
