The Outlander panel at PaleyFest 2020 is available for all today

PaleyFest 2020 is working very differently this year. It’s all virtual for the first time ever, but that hasn’t stopped Outlander from being part of it.

The panel will take place today. When TVLine announced the news, there wasn’t a time listed for the release of the panel. Nor is there a time on the official Paley Center website. We’ll be checking as soon as we’re up (you didn’t think we’d be up at 5 a.m. to post this, did you?) to find the video and add it into the post once live.

We already have a sneak peek of what to expect. The four lead stars, two of the EPs, and author Diana Gabaldon are all taking part in the panel. They’ve all become the standard people to get when it comes to these types of events. After all, Gabaldon started it all, Matt B. Roberts and Maril Davis know the behind-the-scenes stuff and what they want to tease, and the four stars can talk about their characters.

We’ll get a little bit about what to expect in Outlander Season 6. With no filming yet, there probably isn’t going to be a lot. However, the writers have been hard at work, which means there is something known about the upcoming season.

Outlander at PaleyFest 2020

As soon as the panel is live, you can be sure we’ll have the video right here. Tomorrow, we’ll bring a breakdown of everything that we’ve learned from the panel.

What we hope to learn is just a little about where the individual characters are in the story. We left them all at Fraser’s Ridge in Outlander Season 5. Bree and Roger know that Fraser’s Ridge is “home,” while Claire and Jamie are preparing for the coming storm. Claire will also need to deal with the aftermath of the trauma she faced.

We also hope that there may be a little about the ninth book. Diana Gabaldon is still hard at work on that, and there is a lot of hope that the novel will be released later this year. Fingers crossed!
