Bloodshot is coming to STARZ this weekend

Outlander fans can watch Sam Heughan in Bloodshot on STARZ

As an Outlander fan, you most certainly wanted to see Sam Heughan in Bloodshot. Well, you’ll be able to this weekend when the action movie is on STARZ.

I get it. You didn’t want to spend money on a movie you might not enjoy. Action movies or comic book movies may not be for you. But you still want to see Heughan in a role other than Jamie Fraser. And Bloodshot offers a look at him in a darker role.

You’ll be able to stream the movie on the STARZ App from Saturday, Aug. 8. However, it won’t make it to the channel until Friday, Aug. 14. It’s an early preview for those with the app.

What is Bloodshot about?

For those who missed it when it was released in March 2020 (especially with everything going on about the pandemic!), Bloodshot is based on the graphic novel of the same name. Vin Diesel is in the lead, as a former member of the Armed Forces who is killed in action. A doctor brings him back to life through the use of nanotechnology turning him into a killing machine.

He is not alone. There are many like him, including Outlander‘s Sam Heughan.

However, Diesel’s character realizes that the doctor is hiding something. This doctor may not be the good guy after all. And neither may be Heughan’s character. Now Bloodshot needs to figure out a way to break free from those who brought him back to life.

For those who like Vin Diesel movies, you’ll enjoy this. If you don’t, it’s still worth watching for Sam Heughan, especially since you likely have STARZ to rewatch Outlander Season 5 right now.
