6. Episode 11: Believing that Jemmy is Roger’s son

At the start of the season, Bree admits that she thinks Jemmy could be Bonnet’s son biologically. She loves that Roger believes Jemmy is his and that there was the blood oath, but there is a part of her that believes Bonnet is the father. That all changes when she learns that Jemmy can hear the buzz.

More importantly, Jemmy broke the opal. This makes it clear that he’s a far more powerful traveler than anyone else.

Bree doesn’t even think about why. She just says that it must be because both of her parents are time travelers. This is all the proof she needs to know that Roger is Jemmy’s dad.

5. Episode 10: Reading Moby Dick from memory

Brianna’s strongest moments on Outlander Season 5 were most certainly at the end of the season. One of those is during Episode 10, when she’d been captured by Bonnet. Bree had to figure out a way to get Bonnet to trust her, giving her a chance to escape.

The best way to do that was through reading a story, showing Bonnet what she does for Jemmy on a night. She doesn’t have a story she can read, though. Instead, she shows her skills and her memory by picking up “The Art of Husbandry” and pretending it’s “Moby Dick.”
