Outlander Book Club: Book 1, Chapter 30 breakdown
Can you believe we’re nearing the end of the first Outlander book?
We’re onto Outlander Book 1, Chapter 30. That means there are just 11 chapters of the first book after this. Can you believe we’re at this point already?
This is a very short chapter. It’s all about Jenny and her descriptions of childbirth. At the same time, it’s an important one for Claire. This is the point she really is becoming part of the Fraser-Murray family. After all, the detail Jenny goes into is intimate, and you wouldn’t just share it with anyone.
We’re onto one of the shortest chapters of the whole book, coming in at less than 15 minutes on Audible. There’s also not much detail to go into when it comes to foreshadowing. I just didn’t notice all that much when reading the chapter.
However, it is one that’s included in the TV show for some good reasons, but in a different way. This is something I’ll certainly look into at the end of this post.
With just 11 chapters left, I know there are going to be some questions about moving onto the next book. I will certainly continue the Outlander Book Club, but I am going to take a few days off from reading. I want to give those who got a little behind a chance to catch up and time for anyone who has ordered the books to get them to start reading together.
Let’s get into the breakdown of Outlander Book 1, Chapter 30 for the Outlander Book Club. Maybe you’ve spotted something that I haven’t been able to!
