5 best moments from Outlander Season 5, Episode 11

Outlander Season 5, Episode 11 saw the MacKenzies make a choice and Claire attacked. Here are my five favorite moments from the episode.

It was certainly an emotional episode of Outlander. The penultimate episode always is, right? This episode saw a lot happening, but there were certainly some moments from Outlander Season 5, Episode 11 that stand out more than others.

This is my chance to look back at the episode as a whole. While there are some main character moments, the moments don’t just focus on them. I’ve already look at the best Jamie moments and the best Roger moments from the episode. Claire and Brianna’s moments will come tomorrow. This is a chance to look at Young Ian, Marsali, Lizzie, and many more.

5. Marsali’s goodbye

There have been some excellent moments from Marsali throughout the season already, but this one was especially beautiful. She mentioned that she’s pregnant again and we got to see the bond that had formed between the two sisters-in-law. It’s something that I wish could have fully developed on the screen, but I’m glad that there was some mention of it in the episode.

I will admit her comments about putting a dislocated shoulder back into the joint also tickled me. Marsali often finds a way to explain things in a way she understands, so talking about the opposite way of disjointing a hog was perfect. That poor patient!
