3 best Jamie moments from Outlander Season 5, Episode 11

Outlander Season 5, Episode 11 was a big episode for the whole family. Here are my three favorite Jamie moments from the whole episode.

We got a big episode for the whole family, which isn’t surprising when it was the Outlander Season 5 penultimate episode. Each character had their own big moments. It’s time to look back at Jamie’s best moments from Outlander Season 5, Episode 11.

There were some hilarious moments. I certainly loved when Claire showed Jamie the sperm under the microscope and I definitely loved his comments about peanut butter (and the fact that he ate a sandwich with a knife and fork!) but those moments don’t make this list. There are other major moments that involved Jamie that stood out.

3. Telling Young Ian the truth

Jamie could have tried to come up with some sort of story for Young Ian. However, he didn’t. He respects his nephew and chooses to tell him the truth. In a way, this is a mirror of how Jamie and Claire respect and trust Murtagh to tell him the truth in France.

My only wish is that Fergus was part of this conversation, too. However, I did love that there wasn’t a conversation between Jamie and Claire about telling Young Ian. They both agreed he needed to know

2. Telling Brianna about Willie

This was an episode for truths. Another one was for Brianna, who finally found out that she has a brother. More importantly, she found out her brother is Lord John Grey’s adopted son/nephew.

I loved that Jamie told Bree on her own. He wanted to be honest with her and we finally got a moment between Jamie and Brianna; something we’ve waited for all season. Thank you, Diana Gabaldon!

1. Lighing the Fiery Cross

The very end is a big moment. As soon as Jamie realizes that Claire has been taken, he rushes to the Fiery Cross. It’s a call to arms.

All those who were on the Ridge at the time of the gathering will see that fire. They will head to Jamie and find out what he needs them to do. This means war.
