The Outlander Season 5, Episode 11 promo gives us a lot to break down. Here are my top takeaways from the selection of events.

A lot has already happened throughout Outlander Season 5. Episode 11 makes it clear that the drama and intensity aren’t over yet. It’s time to break down the action-packed promo for Outlander Season 5, Episode 11.

It’s the penultimate episode of the season. That means there will be a lot that goes on and we’ll likely be left with a cliffhanger to catapult us into the season finale. With the knowledge that a lot of Book 6 has been used in this season already, it’s likely that more will be used for this episode. And it’s getting extremely hard to guess which storylines could end up being the final ones of the season.

5. Ulysses has had to leave River Run

During Outlander Season 5, Episode 10, Ulysses killed Forbes to protect Jocasta. We all cheered for sure, but there’s something that is easily overlooked. As a slave, Ulysses would be put to death for his actions. So, Ulysses is on the run.

He’s left River Run and headed straight for the Frasers. Of course, they are going to protect him the best they can, but will he want to remain there? He’d likely have a good life with them but he knows he puts them at risk. So, what is he going to do next?

4. The buildup to the Revolutionary War has started

Lord John Grey has news of unrest. It’s clear from other shots that there is unrest in the backcountry. This is something we’re alerted about in the synopsis for Outlander Season 5, Episode 11.

The buildup to the Revolutionary War has started. And that’s not going to be all that takes place in this episode. Everyone is in danger for a variety of reasons. That leads us to the next point.

3. There seems to be a threat against the Ridge

Young Ian says to someone that they’re able to look after themselves. The way he says it speaks volumes. It’s as if he feels there’s a threat from whoever has hinted that the Ridge needs extra protection.

This could be linked to the later threat against the Ridge. Someone comes in and stabs a man. It looks like this man could be Jamie or Roger, but those two are unlikely. Instead, it’s likely either someone there for treatment or someone who helps at the house now and then.

2. Germain is being hidden

When whoever it is that attacks at the Ridge, Marsali hides Germain under a bed. It’s clearly for his protection, although I do always have to question why people get their kids to hide under the bed. It’s one of the first places to check!

Regardless, Germain is likely the one left behind to tell Jamie what has happened at the house. This will possibly be the cliffhanger that gets us into the last episode of the season.

1. Jamie is in searching for someone or something alone

There’s a clip of Jamie running across some rocks with a torch. He’s clearly in search for someone, likely Claire and Marsali.

There are many suspicions that the Outlander Season 5 finale will include a particularly horrific storyline from Book 6. This is more and more likely considering the storylines already used. It’s exciting to see how the next two episodes will play out.
