Outlander Season 5, Episode 9 focused on saving Jamie after the snake bite. Here are my five favorite moments from the entire episode.

There was a lot happening throughout Outlander Season 5, Episode 9, with most of the focus being on saving Jamie from the snake bite. It’s time to look back at the best moments.

Not all the best moments were focused on Claire and Jamie. They weren’t all about Roger’s actions or even about Brianna. In fact, I like to focus on some of the quieter moments or things that tend to be overlooked because so many focus on the main characters.

This is why I have the best main character moments. I’ve already looked at Jamie’s strongest moments throughout the episode and the Roger moments that stood out. I’ll look at Claire and Brianna’s moments tomorrow. This is about the best moments overall from Outlander Season 5, Episode 9.

5. Roger and Jamie talking in the woods

The start of the episode kicked off the main story for the 50+ minutes. Jamie was bitten by a snake while in the woods and Roger quickly realized that it was a venomous one. While Roger initially looked for the other men that went hunting with them, he returned to Jamie to find a way to help in the woods.

This led to a great conversation between them. Jamie admitted that everything Roger did in the past is to be forgotten about now. Sure, he wasn’t impressed with Roger needing to think things through before returning to Bree, but Roger was here now. After everything, Roger had remained in the past for Brianna and Jemmy. That counted for something.

The two men spent the whole episode putting differences in the past. They found respect for one another, and this is certainly a change in their bond.
