The synopsis already tells us that Jamie and Roger are heading off to deal with a particular person. This follows on from the conversation in the woods during the previous episode when Jamie told Roger that Bonnet is alive and needs to be killed. However, things won’t quite go to plan.

5. Roger is ready to kill Bonnet

During the conversation in the woods, Roger admitted that he wasn’t sure he’d be able to kill Stephen Bonnet. Despite everything Bonnet has done, Roger is a pacifist. He doesn’t know if he has the ability to kill in him. However, it seems like he realizes that he possibly can do it.

He may not be any good with a sword or rifle, but he’s got the grit and determination to protect his family. Bonnet is his.

4. Young Ian is back to being a man of the Ridge

There are a couple of clips of Young Ian, and they show him dressed similarly to the way he did in Outlander Season 4. This suggests that he’s ready to move past his Mohawk ways and become a man of the Ridge again.

In a way, it’s a shame that we’ll lose him in his Mohawk threads. At the same time, it’s a huge thing for this character. He’s moving past the grief and taking control of his future.

3. Philip Wylie may betray Jamie

Things aren’t going to go as planned on Outlander Season 5, Episode 10. One of the things to note in the promo is that Philip Wylie is going to be held up against a wall again. Is this a sign that he’s the one who betrays the Frasers and MacKenzies? Will he tell Bonnet that it’s actually James Fraser who wants to meet?

2. Stephen Bonnet is likely a step ahead of everyone

Stephen Bonnet isn’t stupid. Sure, he’s made some mistakes, but this is a man who tends to be a step ahead of the majority of his enemies. He makes his own luck.

So, he’s going to be a step ahead of Jamie and Roger right now. He’ll likely sense a trap and head out to Fraser’s Ridge instead.

1. Brianna and Jemmy may be in danger

At the very end of the Outlander Season 5, Episode 10 promo, you can hear Claire screaming at Brianna to run. She’s on a beach, looking back in fear. It suggests that Bonnet makes it to Brianna and Jemmy, putting them both in danger.

However, in “The Fiery Cross,” Bonnet and Brianna don’t come physically face-to-face. Brianna has a dream about Bonnet. Could this all be a dream playing out but it looks and feels real?
