4. Brianna finding the coin

Brianna returning from town was certainly a great moment. We get to see how much Bree thinks of Lizzie by giving her the gift to make her smell like orange blossoms. It’s a sweet moment and a gift that you can tell Lizzie never expected.

However, this moment also creates a storyline for Bree throughout the episode. The coin and the story of the Irishman stand out to her. She’s sure that Bonnet is the man, even though we never quite get the confirmation. Knowing he’s alive and out there somewhere is enough to set her on edge.

3. Relaxation in Brownsville

I adored seeing Jamie dance around the swords, but I also adored the overall feeling in Brownsville that night. We had the chance to see the militia just relax ahead of some big situations that they’ll have to face. Everyone needs a little downtime.

It’s not often that we get to see the happy moments. That’s just the way a TV show is, especially one with just 12 episodes. So I’m glad the show managed to find a way to keep this in.
