Throughout Outlander Season 5, Episode 3, we were faced with some horrific moments. Claire had to make some difficult decisions as both a woman and a doctor. As I look back on the episode, it’s time to break down Claire’s best moments.

There were certainly some standout moments. We got to see her spend time with Jamie, deliver a baby into the world, and much more.

5. Not taking no for an answer

When Jamie returned from Hillsborough with news of what the militia had done, Claire realized that building the militia was going to be risky business. It could lead to war, and that would mean the men would get hurt. There is no way that Claire could just sit around at home waiting for Jamie and the others to return.

While Brianna and Marsali were left behind, Claire made it clear that Jamie would need the skills of a doctor in the field. And Claire is the right person for the job. She was a field nurse in wartime, so she knows exactly how to help.

Throughout the scene, she refused to take no for an answer. She wasn’t even opening it up to debate with Jamie. She was leaving with them and that was that.
