How can Canadians watch Outlander Season 5?
Outlander airs on the W Network on Sunday nights, making it easy for Canadians to watch live. How can Canadians stream afterward? Why isn’t it on STARZ?
With STARZ now available in Canada through Crave, it’s highly likely that many thought Outlander Season 5 would air there. That’s an understandable assumption, but fans quickly found that the episodes aren’t available. Where and how can you watch the series?
Despite the series being a STARZ Original, you’re not going to get Claire and Jamie through the subscription just yet. Episodes air on W Network right now, and you can watch them on Sunday nights. The time may depend on your location and on the week, so you’ll want to check your local listings for this. Usually, it’s at 9/10mt.
But if you miss it live, is that it? Do you need to make sure your PVR is set? Not quite. There is a way to stream online afterward.
You’ll need Stack TV, which is available through Prime Video Channels in Canada. This gives you access to W Network, Showcase, and many other channels connected to Corus. You’ll be able to stream all episodes of your favorite TV shows. New episodes of Outlander will be added weekly. Once you’ve finished the season, you can easily choose to cancel.
What about Outlander on Netflix?
Right now, the first four seasons of Outlander are on Netflix. The fifth season isn’t going to be added right away. The addition usually happens a few months after the release of the previous season. We’re not expecting Season 5 to come to Netflix until this summer, maybe a little later.
It’s all due to licensing agreements. As soon as we know when the season will drop, we’ll be sure to let you know!
