Outlander Season 5, Episode 1 brought us the wedding of the century. Here’s a look at my favorite Brianna moments from the entire episode.
With the wedding of the century came some standout moments for Brianna Randall Fraser MacKenzie. What a start to the season the Outlander Season 5 premiere was.
Over the last few days, I’ve looked at the best moments for each of the main characters. Now it’s time to look at Brianna’s best moments. This isn’t necessarily her happiest moments, but those that stand out for the character moving forward. Those that give us character development or something important that connects to who she is.
Here are my five favorite Brianna moments from the Outlander Season 5 premiere.
5. Her reaction to learning about Bonnet
I said not all moments were going to be good ones. One of Brianna’s strongest moments is when she finds out that Bonnet is still alive. We get a flash of a reminder of things that happened, but also that look of fear. She thought she was free of the man, and now she finds out that he didn’t perish in the fire like she thought she did.
Brianna doesn’t scream or say anything. Her fear remains internalized. However, it’s clear that she’s not just scared for herself. She grabs Jemmy and holds him tight, knowing that Jemmy is also at risk after everything that happened at the jail.
