Outlander Season 5 premiere event will be available to live stream

The Outlander Season 5 will get two premiere events. The one in LA is going to be live-streamed for all at home. Yes, really!

Have you had enough of Droughtlander? You’re certainly not alone, but it’s starting to feel a little easier to deal with, especially knowing that the LA premiere event of Outlander Season 5 is going to be live-streamed.

STARZ announced on the official Outlander social profiles that the Feb. 13 event is going to be live-streamed on the Facebook page. That means anyone, everywhere can watch it from the comfort of their couches. With it being on Facebook, it’s likely to be available after the fact for those who are in different time zones.

Does that mean the premiere episode will be available earlier? It doesn’t sound like it. According to the social media card, the red carpet and the panel will be live-streamed for everyone. The actual episode is going to be kept private for those who snagged tickets for the LA event. It’s only fair to offer something for those who are paying for the event to get something exclusive.

It’s not all that bad. The premiere will air just three days later on STARZ. In fact, the STARZ listings for February 2020 included two episodes of Outlander. The premiere will air on Feb. 16 and the second episode will air on Feb. 23. Naturally, the Sunday after that for Episode 3 is going to be in March, so we’ll need to wait for the March listings to see if there will be any planned breaks (sometimes there are).

But at least the panel will be live-streamed. Fans will want to be careful with this. The actors will be able to talk about some of the episode, which could mean spoilers for those listening in from home.
