4. See his stance in the fight against the Regulators

With tensions in the Colonies, Lord John Grey could be pulled into that. However, he’s had personal dealings with some of the Regulators, especially Murtagh. It puts him in a difficult position.

While nobody will know of his personal relationship with Jamie, they will know that at one time John was in charge at Ardsmuir. He was the one that dealt with Murtagh and other prisoners during their final days at the prison. That could lead to some suggestions of loyalty if people think that he could have been turned.

3. See some of him raising Willie

I don’t think this is going to be all that possible, but it doesn’t stop me from wanting to see it. Like Lord John Grey, Willie isn’t seen in “The Fiery Cross,” but he is mentioned. I would hope that there’s some sort of mention of him at the very least in Outlander Season 5.

However, something that I’d love to see is John spending some time with Willie. There was an Outlander Untold clip on the Season 4 DVD boxset, which was a beautiful chance to see their bond. I’d love to see more.

If there can’t be something within the actual story, I’d love to see another Outlander Untold segment on the Season 5 DVD boxset. Or maybe Sony and STARZ can finally get a Lord John Grey spin-off created.
