As Claire and Jamie went in search for Roger, Brianna tried to navigate the pressure to marry. I look back at the Outlander Season 4, Episode 11 ratings.

Outlander Season 4, Episode 11 saw Claire and Jamie’s journey in search for Roger begin. Meanwhile, Bree had to navigate the world of River Run. On the year anniversary of the episode, here’s a look back at the ratings.

The end of the season saw some good numbers. After already ticking up due to lower numbers during the holiday season, both the live audience and the demo rating ticked up again. This time, we saw a match for the highest demo, while bringing in the highest audience of the season to this point.

As we get to the end of a season, live ratings naturally start to tick up for the most part. Viewers want to see how the story is going to end. Even though much of the episodes followed the bones of the book’s storyline, fans wanted to see how it would all play out.

And there was a lot going on throughout the episode. Brianna and Lord John Grey met for the first time, forging a friendship that is sure to last for seasons. After the initial attempt of blackmail, the two explained their stances and entered an engagement of convenience.

Meanwhile, there was a chance for Claire and Jamie to reconcile. Things had been tense after Jamie had called Brianna a w***e and a liar, leading to Claire naturally choosing to side with her daughter. During this episode, Jamie finally admitted that he was jealous of a ghost, while Claire shared just how alike Jamie and Brianna are. And that reconciliation came thanks to some wise words from Young Ian.

As for Roger, we got answers as to whether he would go through the stones or not. It was a chance to see him reach the Mohawk village, see whether he would make it through the gauntlet.

And of course, there was the invention for Murtagh and Fergus’ storyline, as Stephen Bonnet showed up. They were going to get their revenge for Brianna.

Everything was leading to some major moments for our characters. Is it any wonder the live viewership was ticking up by this point?
