2. Lord John Grey and Jamie

When it comes to friends that will do everything for each other, Lord John Grey and Jamie have to be included. John has raised Jamie’s son as his own, keeping the boy protected both physically and financially. Jamie has done what he could to help John, but over the years, it’s been mostly John helping Jamie get out of some tight spots.

There’s more of this friendship to come. There are plenty of tight spots coming up and tensions are brewing. And with Brianna’s friendship with John, you know John will be around more.

1. Rupert and Angus

There’s only one Outlander friendship that can make it to the top of the list. It’s all about Rupert and Angus. Out of everything added into the show that wasn’t in the books, it’s this friendship that has been one of the best elements ever. They are more than friends. They treat each other like brothers.

The two avoid getting too sentimental, but you can tell they love each other. In fact, they’ve put their own lives on the line for each other, with Rupert mourning Angus’ death hard after Prestonpans. While we’ve had sentimental moments, we’ve also had some of the most hilarious moments because of the two.
