What promotion is left for Outlander Season 5?

Outlander Season 5’s key art and trailer have now been released. With more than a month to go, what’s left in terms of promotion from STARZ?

There’s a little more than a month left before Outlander Season 5 premieres. As a Christmas Day gift, we got the opening credits to the season. Then after New Year, we got the key art and official trailer. It leaves us pondering what’s left in STARZ’s promotional arsenal.

STARZ will need to do something else to promote the series. With more than a month to go, there are going to be people who don’t realize that it’s coming back. Yes, really! And then there are going to be new eyeballs to capture the attention of, especially as Power‘s final episodes air. It makes sense for STARZ to offer more promotional material.

So what could that be? What does it look like?

I would like to see another sneak peek. We had one that involved a flashback of Jamie and Murtagh before moving into a scene between Jamie and Roger. A second sneak peek could give us a look at a scene between Claire and Brianna. I’d even settle for the two with Marsali and the children, all getting ready for the wedding.

Another great sneak peek would be one between Claire and Jamie. There were some excellent moments during the Outlander Season 5 trailer, but there’s no doubt that we’d all love to see the two together in a longer scene. I know there would also be many looking forward to a scene between Brianna and Roger.

But there may not be time or willingness to share another sneak peek. Instead, STARZ could offer some casting news. There are still some major roles that haven’t been confirmed just yet.

More promotional images for the first episode could also be revealed. This will likely happen a week or so before the release of the first episode based on previous seasons. However, there could also be a trickle of other images released to keep the show in our minds over the last bit of Droughtlander.
