Thought promotion for Outlander Season 5 would be over once the season premieres? Guess again! The cast and crew will be at PaleyFest in March 2020.

Outlander is heading to PaleyFest LA 2020. It’s official. Promotion will continue even after Season 5 premieres in February, showing STARZ’s continued support for the time-traveling drama.

Entertainment Weekly shared the news, stating that Outlander would take the stage on March 19. A time hasn’t been given, but we do know that the PaleyFest LA takes place at the Dolby Center in Hollywood.

Right now, the cast and crew are just mentioned as a whole for the event. The exact people who will attend aren’t known. As this is during the filming break, it’s possible that all four main actors—Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, Richard Rankin, and Sophie Skelton—will be able to attend the event. However, this is still to be confirmed.

During the Outlander filming breaks, many of the actors like to take on other projects. They get a chance to test out the waters in the movie niche or they can take on other projects that push them as actors. Season 5 will have been harrowing for the actors and Season 6 isn’t all that easy (although, arguably a little easier for some) so they’ll possibly want to try something lighter during the breaks.

When it comes to the crew, Ron D. Moore and Maril Davis will likely attend. The two usually attend these types of events to promote the show. We could also see Matt B. Roberts and Toni Graphia take to the stage, although they may choose to remain with the writers or crew members putting together the sets for Season 6. Filming is slated to begin sometime in April or May 2020.

We’ll bring more updates as we get them. However, this is an exciting sign that STARZ continues to support the series, pushing promotion, and giving us hope for more seasons in the future.
