Roger had some outstanding moments throughout Outlander Season 4. Here’s a look at the best moments just from the 2019 episodes.

We got to see more of Roger Wakefield MacKenzie throughout Outlander Season 4, delivering more character development. He had some standout performances throughout the season, and we’ve already looked at the Top 10.

Those Top 10 moments came from throughout the season, and not just the 2019 episodes. For Day 17 of the 25 Days of MacBree-mas, we’re looking at from “The Deep Heart’s Cove” to “A Man of Worth.” That’s four episodes worth of content, and some of Roger’s best moments of the entire season, in my opinion.

Here are the five top moments from 2019.

5. Choosing to stay for Brianna

Roger had the chance to return home. He’d escaped from the Mohawks and found himself a set of standing stones. There was this chance to go home, heal up, and then return for Brianna if he wanted to.

But no. He couldn’t do that. He didn’t know Claire and Jamie were looking for him, but he couldn’t leave Brianna behind. How would he know if he could get gems once he did come back? At this point, he had two, one for each of them.

This was a romantic thing to do. Stupid in some people’s opinion (heal man!) but he showed his love and devotion for Brianna in that moment.
