20 best moments throughout Outlander Season 4
14. Young Ian’s sacrifice
At the very end of the season, we had to say goodbye to Young Ian. It shouldn’t be a permanent one, but it is a goodbye for now. To make sure Roger could get back to Brianna and to make up for his part in the Mohawk mess, Young Ian offered himself up as a trade.
This moment stood out for a number of reasons but the biggest one was that it was Young Ian’s chance to really stand up for himself. He’d spent so long learning about the Natives that it made sense for him to be the one to join the tribe. And that smile on his face when he’d completed the gauntlet. There’s no denying that this was something purely for himself.
13. Rollo’s introduction (and everything involving Rollo)
Rollo’s introduction couldn’t possibly be taken off the list. But really, it’s every part of Rollo that needs to make the list of best Outlander Season 4 moments. He is one of the most loyal, sweetest characters on the series.
The introduction was just adorable though. We saw the happiness in Young Ian’s eyes, as he found something to care for. This was his chance to step out on his own, and Rollo was where it all started.
