20. Brianna making it clear Bonnet will be forgotten

This was one of my favorite moments from the penultimate episode of Outlander Season 4 (those moments aren’t done quite in order as they’re immediate reaction pieces and I don’t get the chance to see them where they fit in the season overall) and it remains one of my favorite moments of the whole season.

Brianna finds the confidence to face Bonnet. After he’d raped her, she wasn’t sure how to feel and blamed herself. Yet her time with Jamie had helped her understand more about her feelings, the events, and what she couldn’t have done. Now she has the chance to forgive him

However, she also makes it clear that he’ll be forgotten. She isn’t going to let him have any power over her.

19. Brianna and Roger reuniting

The very end of the fourth season brought us the reunion between Brianna and Roger. I adore this moment — and I like that he took his time to make sure he could definitely be with Brianna and not end up breaking her heart again later.

This moment makes it clear that Roger will view the child as his own. We also get to see the relief on Brianna’s face when Roger returns to her, showing that she just didn’t know what he’d do but there was still an element of hope within her.

I do wish we’d go to see Roger actually see the baby, but I’m looking forward to that in Outlander Season 5.
