2. Jamie sharing his three requirements

Before he married, Jamie had three requirements. These weren’t about him, but about making this day perfect for Claire. Like when the two were getting to know each other, this “moment” was a collection of different scenes in one, because they all show the same thing — just how much Claire already means to him and the type of man Jamie is.

More importantly, it connects back to that opening scene with Frank. We got to see just how different the two men are and their respect for Claire’s thoughts and feelings.

One thing I do love is that Jamie trusts Ned to find the perfect dress for Claire. And yes, she looks beautiful in it.

1. Claire almost losing Frank’s ring

When Claire shakes out the dress the following morning, the ring that she’d put into the bodice falls out. She’d completely forgotten that she had put it there, showing that the connection between her and Jamie was growing quickly.

When Claire almost loses the ring, there’s a sense of panic. She then grabs it and puts it on her finger. One thing I love is that she didn’t want the reminder of Frank on her wedding day, but she was now torn between these two men in her life.

Who would she choose? We’d find out soon.
