4. It’s binge-worthy and rewatch-worthy

One of the worst things about the current Droughtlander is the knowledge that it’s going to be long. Outlander Season 5 hasn’t even started filming yet, which means we have no inclination as to when it will be over.

So you want something that will fill up the foreseeable future. This is where Catastrophe comes into play. Yes, it is a binge-worthy show, and with six episodes or so per season, you’re going to get through it quickly. However, it’s also a show that you’ll find yourself rewatching over and over again for the humor, the writing, and the acting.

3. You’ll get a very different couple

While you’re used to the love and devotion of Claire and Jamie, Catastrophe offers something very different. Sharon and Rob are not the most convention couple and certainly don’t come together in the most usual of ways — sure, Claire and Jamie didn’t either, but Sharon and Rob have a few other hurdles to get over.

Their relationship starts more as a “yeah, why the hell not,” which immediately sets up problems. They’re opposites but somehow, they manage to make things work. They’re flawed people, but that draws you into this show, as you watch them grow and develop with each other.
