Jamie was on the road in search for Roger in Outlander Season 4, Episode 11. Here are the best three moments from the night.

Jamie took to the road with Claire and Young Ian, searching for Roger in Outlander Season 4, Episode 11. It was an episode of mixed emotions, finding remains, and working on the distance between Claire and Jamie. Throughout there were some excellent moments for the King of Men.

While most of the episode was spent on Brianna’s forced search for a husband, we did get some important moments for Jamie. I’ll share my three top moments from him throughout “If Not for Hope.”

Just a word of caution, there are spoilers from the episode moving forward.

3. Laying the remains to rest

Rollo found some bones and it was soon clear to Young Ian that this was the prisoner of the Mohawks at the time he sold Roger. At first, it leads to the group looking for any sign of Roger’s remains being buried in a shallow grave. However, they find nothing.

Once they’re satisfied that Roger is still possibly alive, Jamie decides they need to bury the remains of the prisoner they didn’t know. It’s an honorable moment and shows this religious side of Jamie that we often don’t see.

It was just a small moment but shows something of who Jamie is. This is important for character development to see that he hasn’t lost this.
