3 best Roger moments on Outlander Season 4, Episode 10
2. Tracking everything to get back
Before escaping, Roger tracked a few things. After all, he was heading through dense forest and would need to find his way back. He may be a historian, but he could also be smart when it comes to the wilderness.
We got to see him tracking the days with a piece of rope. Then he mentioned how he was tracking the direction they were heading and tracking how far he’d traveled. He made note of landmarks and more.
This wasn’t a man willing to die with the Mohawk. He had no idea what they wanted to do with him when they got to wherever they were going, but he wasn’t willing to let himself die on the road or in this time.
There was that heartfelt moment of him making it clear he was going to get back to Brianna. This is a man in love and determined to see his wife again. Despite everything, he wants to be with her and he’ll fight for that.
We’ve only really seen one side of Roger up to this point, except on the ship. This was more of the man on the ship and important for his development in the future.
