3 best Jamie moments in Outlander Season 4, Episode 10
1. Helping Brianna accept she couldn’t change things
Hindsight is 20/20. We all look back over events and figure out what we could have done differently. That’s something Brianna does after being raped.
Jamie knows that Brianna could never have fought off her attacker. If she did, he would have killed her. He doesn’t judge her for not fighting back and shares how that was the bravest and smartest thing she could have done.
More this moment stood out because of the way he helped her understand. He riled her up. You could see this twinkle in his eye that if you knew him, you’d know he was purposely making her angry. He’d realized that he could act to help her see she couldn’t fight Bonnet off, which could have otherwise taken months or years of conversation.
It helped to further their bond. But at the same time, it foreshadowed the argument that would come. We got this glimpse of two fiery and passionate people, who are just as stubborn as each other. Yet, we also got a much needed father-daughter moment.
